NBA Most Valuable Player Award is justified for not always being credited to
the best current player by definition, just like Malone over MJ for 96-97.
Of course, there are still curious occasions like Duncan over Kidd for 01-02
. At least, Curry has brought the most value in the last couple of years to
the league, especially in the bay area.

If one considers the difference in the overall voting scores between MVP and

playoffs, although I am really enjoying it, with all the top talents
materializing in stats, highlights and my imagination.
Shaq in 99-00
Kidd in 01-02
Nash in 04-05
Kobe in 07-08
are all dominant personal performances, at least comparable to Curry's this
season.
MVP is a personal award, but I agree the record-breaking 73 wins should be
included in the consideration as was obviously the case.
