In a deal originally reported by the Houston Chronicle on July 18, the H
ouston Rockets on Tuesday officially signed the 6-9 forward to a multi-y
ear contract.
Tuesday is the first day teams officially can sign free agents and annou
nce trades as the new salary cap became effective at noon EDT, ending th
e league's "moratorium period."
