一步一步的恩典
经文: 「你从水中经过…水必不漫过你。」（赛四十三2）
上帝并不为我们开路，如果我们尚未起步。上帝并不给我们帮助，如果我们还
不需要帮助。上帝并不除去我们路上的拦阻，如果我们还没有碰到，可是一等到我们眞
有需要的时候，上帝的手就伸出来了。
许多上帝的儿女，竟把这个原则忘了，终日挂虑前面未来的难处。他们盼望上
帝先把前面几十里的路都铺平了；但是上帝只肯照着他们的需要，一步一步的开路。你
必须从水中经过，然后才可求上帝实现祂的应许。有许多人怕死，叹息自己并没有得到
上帝在临终时所给的祝福。当然，他们得不到，因为身体健康，正在作工的时候，离死
还远得很哩。他们有没有这种需要。他们需要的是工作的恩典，生活的恩典；等到死期
临到，才需要临终时的恩典。 ──密勒（J.R.M.）
