维持镇静
经文: 「亲爱的兄弟，不要自己伸冤。」（罗十二19）
许多时候静比动更费力，静是力的最高效能。对于那些一无根据的最恶、最毒
的控告，主始终「什么都不回答….连一句话也不说」，以致审判官甚觉希奇。对于那
些无理的侮辱，不堪的虐待和嘲笑，连旁人都会激起忿怒，可是主始终镇静。祂大有能
力，才能不动。凡曾受过冤枉、毁谤、虐待的，都知道维持镇静，需要何等大的力量。
使徒保罗说：「没有一件东西可以动摇我。」（徒廿二24，直译）
他不是说：「没有一件东西可以伤害我。」伤害是一件事，摇动又是一件事。
使徒保罗的心顶仁慈。我们没有读过，有什么使徒曾像使徒保罗那样痛哭过。一个男子
痛哭，是不容易的一件事。虽然保罗的心，顶仁慈、顶温柔，但是却没有一件东西可以
摇动他。他的看法和我们的看法不同：他不贪求安适，他不以性命为念。他所贪求的只
