Genius IQ is generally considered to begin around 140 to 145, representing ~.25% of the population (1 in 400). Here's a rough guide:
115-124 - Above average (e.g., university students)
125-134 - Gifted (e.g., post-graduate students)
135-144 - Highly gifted (e.g., intellectuals)
145-154 - Genius (e.g., professors)
155-164 - Genius (e.g., Nobel Prize winners)

智商在145-154之间的人，有能力做到大学教授，但他们也停留在大学教授水平。
智商在115-124之间的人，一般只能拿到本科文凭。
每一个智力测验，都有它自己的智商区间定义。楼上提到的定义，不一定适合这一个iq test。

发帖数: 153 | 12 有道理。智商160的人应该没有能力出题测量智商超过他们的人。
但有一种可能是：因为这种测验是计时的，160的人花10分钟得出的答案，200的人只需
要10秒钟。所以160的人可以花1年时间，也许能拟出一道让200的人思考1分钟的题目。

话说爱因斯坦死后来到天堂，发现大家都在上网，于是就问一个人A，你的IQ是多少？A
回答说是200，爱因斯坦说那我们去mitbbs物理版讨论一下相对论吧。他又问另一个人B

they testing? or what's IQ? or what
consistitute intelligence/intellectual/whatever? I never thought IQ is
that important anyway...

量才算作科学。IQ不重要，又提出个EQ。不过，我相信，Einstein, Newton,Crick,
Darwin，还有上个世纪初做物理的那帮牛人做这些测试，肯定要远高于我们，而且是
statistically significant.刚看了你给的链接，一开始以为说Darwin IQ是200，后来
一想，原来是诞辰200周年，哈哈。Watson说过非洲人IQ低，那是他自己EQ低了。不过
美国的黑人，能够做science这种脑力劳动的确实比例小的出奇，不像NBA那样高的出奇
。所以这种人种之间智力的差别还是存在的，尽管我们不愿意承认，追求政治正确。

crick Darwin can do better than us...esp people could get trained for
things, right? kind of like math contest...once trained, it is pretty easy
for most of it...I am not sure how well those ancient genius/guru could do
with today's IQ...maybe not even as good as a three grade...back to Black, I
am not sure your statement is true or not, but I do know sometimes the
