因为中国pi比美国本土的，生存压力更大。

percent of them (including PI, student, and postdoc) are not 省油的灯.
It is not difficult to understand. Some of them (including me) come to USA
are not purely for pursuing science. Some of them now forced to do science
for living (student, postdoc) or do science as a way to demonstrate
themselves (PI).
Inside Chinese, we should always consider more for the other people. Not
always put our own interest in the first place.

发帖数: 1228 | 9 make sense. current PIs are from previous postdoc; some of current postdoc
will become next generation of PI. So essentially, their behaviors should be
pretty much the same. agree that we should help each other. Double-win, AND
hexie Society.
