he always ask me to come up with the ideas.
99% of my ideas have been rejected sofar.
he wouldn't like to assign projects to me...
if he has ideas, he would try them on his own. Only ask students to be his
assistant and coauthors.
He is very strict on reviewing when students try to publish papers 'cuz he
has a high reputation in his area.
sometimes i am feeling very upset. no idea means no paper. great pressure

wrong, specially as the education we had in China. I learned this in a hard
way.
...Maybe you will only realize it when you get "mature".

My boss told me to have my own ideas too. but he will never listen to me or
have a discussion with me. He just simply replace my ideas by his and does
not give an opportunity to defend. |
