发帖数: 4884 | 3 I think it is up-regulating/activating microglia to devour amyloid
aggregates or plaques, which of course works in AD mouse model. I highly
doubt this will work in human trials.
As a matter of fact, over activation of microglia is believed to cause
inflammatory response thateventually lead to neuronal loss.
In my opinion, it is very much like the amyloid vaccine story. Works
beautifully in mouse models, failed or will fail at human trial.
