from that..
If not, that's his/her RP problem, or even PMS. Then leave if you can. As

To a senior PhD student or a postdoc, NEVER push him/her, cos they are
already under pressure;
To a fresh PhD/master student, let them know your rules and most importantly
, let them know that their graduation is not about time (3 or 8 years), it's
about the amount of work they have done.
......Of course, it's my pure YY from a student point of view. | O******e
