发帖数: 1215 | 3 我找到了，不过我有美国户口，有N年工作经验，前后找了半年，四个onsite
interview, 两个offer，有一个offer给得超低，就给个entry level的价。
寄出去的resume有回应的不到十分之一。有回应的除了一个其他的都是因为我的background和别人的要求很match。但恰恰是这个非常不match的位置最后得我比较满意的offer。 | d*****r

小的pharm clinical research方面职位比较多一些, 虽然pay低一些, 也还好找.

发帖数: 357 | 6 Big pharmas are downsizing, and the job market is not promising. You got
decent publications, but it is the networking that will eventually do the
magic.
Try to go over some articles in the Pharmaceutical board, and find some IDs
who have similar background to yours and send them private messages.
Formulate your questions well before you send them messages. CHINESE people
do want to help their countrymen (from my personal experience). I got tons
of help from people I contacted through MITBBS but never personally met.
Again, be thoughtful on your career plan before asking for help, be
appreciative whether you can get in or not, and be professional. I wish I
could be of more help, but my company is expanding biostat & data management
group and cutting the scientist positions.

I've been working on receptor-ligand interactions for a while and will dive
in job market pretty soon. Lately I've found quite a few openings in China
for HTS ppl, from CROs and big name pharmas as well.
Yet the question is, if continuing our career in the bio-tech field, would
those Chinese-based companies provide a decent environment for us to grow?
I've heard ppl saying the core of R & D stays here and work assigned to
Chinese company is basically less rewarding (and I'm not talking about money
here). Just I never get to know what the core of R & D really is.
