漫长的两周过去，到24号这天一天仍没有消息，于是25号早上再问:

How is it going on with the interviewing process, have all
been finished yet?

26号下午突然回信：
“XXX XX,
The interview that I had scheduled for this week had to be postponed.
It plan to reschedule next week.
We cannot finish the interview process this week.
While I appreciate you patience in this matter, you should do what
is in your best interest. I will not decide until the interview process
is completed.

XX”

就事论事的话，你25号的催促信行文听起来挺不”顺耳“的（感觉是想老板给学生写信
问project progress），而且就算人家24号一切面试结束，你也总该给别人一点时间做
最终决定吧，这算是基本礼貌了，何况人家说的很清楚，“do NOT expect...till
AFTER May 24th”。当然，确实是他没有遵守承诺在先。
估计他没有预料到candidate比他预想的要多，或者中途有什么变故。anyway，“you
should do what is in your best interest”，勉强算一种暗示吧 |

发帖数: 79 | 7 不见得就没希望了。有的老板最初订好多少候选人，就要把这些人都面试完了再一块商
量作决定，除非你牛到让老板觉得非你不可，把后面人的面试都推了来要你。我自己就
是最好的例子。我上次面试是3个星期前，完了说后面还有两个面试的，2个星期后给答
复。2个星期以后，没消息；我发信问，说有人的面试推迟了，让我再等。然后就是昨
天，老板自己打电话来通知我，说给我offer了。你发信询问的时候，要礼貌，着急是
正常的，但不要逼人作决定。但在这同时，你也要联系别的地方，说不定更好的offer
就来了呢。Good luck! |

想想他回这封信以后一直没再follow up，要不要回信解释下？。。
。其实觉得他学术上还是有点水平，人也不错，临走主动提出开车把我送到机场，捎带
讲解了一番学习工作方法。。所以总体说来还是挺想去他那儿的。。 |

虽然等待很难熬，但是一定要耐心等待。特别是写信的口气把握不好（想的是这样，结
