标 题: 还没成稿的东西到会议上去报告好不好？

很热门的一个东西，有了一些似乎很有冲击力的结果，但是还没成稿。如果拿到会议上
但不是大型会议上去报告，好不好？ |

如果你要在会议上讲的话，最好是已经做得差不多已经收尾了，
而不能仅仅是一些关键结果。

发帖数: 427 | 9 my recent paper was almost screwed by a big fish in the field. it ended up
of being published back-to-back, mine and theirs. i once presented key
founding work for my postdoc interview in that asshole's lab. I was of
course rejected and several months later heard that a same story was under
review by a decent, but not great journal. At that time, my paper was under
revision for Science!!! So, we had to pull it out and sent it to the same
journal. We had no alternative better way, as science revision would take a
much longer time, and we lost novelty if they published theirs first!!!
fuck them! I was pretty much sure that they had no comparable data at the
time. this idea was reenforced afterwards when i had a chat with some folks
from that asshole's lab. BTW, the asshole's lab is a hhmi lab and the first
author of the paper is a chinese too. thanks, my fellow brother!!!
so, 绝对绝对不要!!! |
