they milk. Law and politics are all about who is supposed to work hard and
who is supposed to exploit those working hard. Various excuses have been
invented for this in verbatim, e.g., XX-ism.
The only thing good is that it brings a question mark to the public's eyes.

发帖数: 472 | 8 有些道理。不过作为一个领域，还是需要解决从业人员的生活问题，
毕竟杰出永远是个相对概念，只属于top1%的人，而行业内99%的人的生存问题还是很现
实的。一个领域的资源分布过于不均匀这其实未必对本行业的发展有利。
另外喜欢和抱怨其实也不是总是矛盾，毕竟还有生活和环境压力，即使人能够follow自
己的爱好研究生物也会面对每天都存在的现实矛盾。

reality. OK, let me tell you what Americans thought about the STEM thing.
The majority in the Republic is not a big fan of science or technology. To
them, the life is all about farming/harvesting, eating/sleeping, and Bible
study. To them, STEM fields are kinda evil and do no goods. Try to ask them
what STEM is and they will say "cheap labors or 3rd-world losers". They will
propose to exploit us as much as possible, just like the cattles raised in
their farms.
The majority of the Democratic is exactly what we know about. To them,
openning this STEM gate is equivallent to shutting down their windows. They
don't care about fairness or the benefit of this country. They only afford
caring about themselves.
Are there really proponents of the STEM thing from the two sides? I believe
yes. These people want better labor force in the economy to boost the
productivity. However, their number is small and their voice is negligible.

Chinese graduates here in the states are better labor force for sure, at
