The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences is actively
seeking candidates for tenure track faculty positions at all levels. We seek
outstanding individuals to develop and conduct innovative basic and/or
translational research in areas of including but not limited to 1)
quantitative molecular and systems pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, drug
development sciences, and therapeutic engineering; 2) developing enabling
technologies for target identification and validation, disease modeling,
functional genomics, imaging, computational modeling and informatics, design
and engineering of genome/proteins/cells/tissues, formulation and delivery;
3) understanding and targeting diseases such as cancer, neurological
disease, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, and immune disorder.
The department focuses on cutting-edge research and education in
pharmaceutical sciences, and strives to integrate basic and translational
research disciplines. It currently has 14 independent principal
investigators conducting mutli-disciplinary research and is establishing a
state-of-the-art drug discovery center.
Tsinghua University offers highly competitive start-up package, salary and
fringe benefits. Award-winning kindergartens and exceptional elementary
schools, located at the heart of the campuses, will also be available to the
children of all PIs.
Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree, or equivalent, and to have
demonstrated significant potential in their fields. The successful
candidates will be expected to establish a dynamic research program and
excel at teaching in both undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants

ncs，当然你要是做很基础的mechanism之类的，还是要好paper。

1. 申请药学系的同时可以申请清华-北大联合生命中心（cls.edu.cn)。这个中心目前
提供稳定的科研支持，提供非常有竞争力的postdoc fellowship (up to 120K rmb/
year)。
2. 药学系目前初具规模。系里主要是年轻PI为主，也有国际著名资深PI坐阵。系内气
氛非常好，相互之间合作机会很多。
3. 清华大学对药学系的发展提供了很多额外支持，如建设经费等。此外药学系和跨国
药企，基金会有很多合作。这些都是额外的funding机会。
4. 据说清华为引进人才在后8加预留了n套房子（2018年交付），现在动手应该还来得
及。
