楼主.
It's better to buy a permanent coverage that has some savings feature (cash
value accumulation & tax advantage) that last as long as one’s whole life.
Don’t buy the term life insurance that covers only stated years and have no
cash value upon its expiration.

investment components。 而且performance通常不好。

发帖数: 2622 | 6 如果你的资产不是很多，有可能hit estate tax， 有什么资产需要avoid probate，或
者家庭关系比较复杂，你现在需要做的就是有个life insurace， 这样老婆孩子之后的
生活有保障。 或者再定个遗嘱， 如果你和老婆同时有什么事情（god forbidden），
孩子的抚养权归谁 etc。

发帖数: 10098 | 7 When evaluating or recommending assets/product such as the perm life, it is more prudent to put them in a holistic picture that encompasses earning, saving, growth and protection needs. I won't single a product out to conclude that is bad or good.
Sorry.I have nothing to recommend to anyone.

卖whole life insurance的commission很高，如果有agent热情得推荐您买，我建议您
算一下同期的term life 的价格， 去掉这个就是investment components， 您再算算
rate of return,大概就有个idea了。

You assumed that I will sell anything to you therefore you sounded very
antagonizing. If the argue is only for the sake of arguing, then there is no discussion that we can carry on.
However, if you are interested in discuss those pro & cons, then I would be glad to hear your calculation on "算一下同期的term life 的价格，去掉这个就是investment components."

奇您是不是有什么好的投资因为我的局限自己不知道。 因为工作原因，看到客户被人
吹得天花乱坠地推销保险太多次，不希望您或别人上当而已。

experience on some salesmen’s pitch. My thinking pattern has some gray area
besides the “black & white”. I often see some legitimate good quality in
a devil:-) (even if the devil wears expensive Prada.)
Let’s continue our discussion then. I am highly interested in your
calculation and opinion on the components of perm life.
