2013 Annual Harvard Chinese Life Science Research Symposium, Transforming
Medicine through Innovative Integration, will be held at Harvard Medical
School on April 13-14th, 2013. The Symposium, organized by Harvard Medical
School Chinese Scholars and Scientists Association (HMS-CSSA) and Harvard
School of Public Health Chinese Students and Scholars Association (HSPH-CSSA
), is an event that attracts participants from Harvard Medical School and 17
affiliated institutions, major US medical and research institutions across
the country, and Chinese medical science research community.
This year’s symposium will cover broader topics including Biomedical
Research, Translational Medicine and Biopharmaceutical Industry, and feature
guest speakers ranging from well-established professors and investigators,
promising young post-doctorals, and prominent business leaders from
biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. It provides participants with the
opportunity to exchange exciting ideas and share research leads, and
interact with a larger audience at the time when translational medicine is
transforming the way we do with medical research.
