Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers, testers and product owners to build requirements
and drive product direction
Produce high quality, testable and scalable code.
Contribute to all engineering aspects of the project. Just a few of those
areas include:
Solving challenges in performing 3pty service integrations.
Consuming SOAP and REST APIs to exchange data with clients.
Data modeling in MongoDB.
Machine learning and document classification/scoring.
Qualification Requirements:
BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Three or more years of professional software development experience,
preferably with Python, but if you are the type of developer who has worked
in multiple languages and are excited by the challenge of becoming a great
python developer quickly you may be a great fit.
Self-motivated and a strong problem solver with an emphasis on root-cause
analysis and quick resolution of issues.
Adaptable, have-a-go attitude, willing to learn new technologies and skills
quickly.
Relentless focus on improvement, both for yourself, and the product.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Python, particularly Web Service micro-frameworks.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
High level of familiarity with Distributed Version Control (Git).
Experience working with Agile development practices.
Experience with or interest in machine learning and document classification
problems a plus.
Previous contributions to Open Source projects. | b*****t
