《在中国一年不同的成长经历（A Transformative Year In China）》
2013年9月，香港乃至亚洲最顶尖学校，香港汉基国际学校在中国杭州开设了一个学习
中心（“汉基杭州”）。这个中心为学生在其合作学校——绿城育华学校美丽的校园内
提供一年寄宿学习国际高中（IB）课程的项目，旨在为十四、五岁（9年级）孩子们提
供一个不同的成长经验。
“汉基杭州”的申请向所有聪明、有责任感的学生开放，这些学生希望提升普通话的学
习、同时能锻炼自己的自立能力、抗压能力、和独立性，同时他们能在中国的最主要的
文化中心之一深层次地了解生活和文化。学生将在汉基杭州的总监潘和平（Richard
Pratt）先生和他的具有献身精神的团队的照顾之下，潘和平先生来杭州之前在英国伊
顿公学服务了14年。

A Transformative Year In China
In September 2013 Chinese International School, one of the leading schools
in Hong Kong and Asia, opened a study center in Hangzhou China that is
devoted to delivering a transformational experience to 14-15 year olds (
Grade 9) through a year of study (International Baccalaureate) and
experiential learning in a residential setting amidst the beautiful campus
of its partner school, Greentown Yuhua School.
Application to CIS Hangzhou is open to bright, responsible students seeking
to make substantial progress in Mandarin while developing qualities of self-
reliance, resilience and independence as they become deeply acquainted with
life and culture in one of China's great cultural centers. The students are
in the care of Director Richard Pratt, who moved to CIS Hangzhou following
14 years at Eton College (U.K.), together with his highly dedicated team.
