One (original) owner. Runs smoothly but has been collecting dust for the
past year. Never a mechnical problem, Except_____
The car's alternator is no good, So Car can be jump started but as soon as
the
jump cable is pulled off, car stops. Was told the alternator can be changed
for about $200, ----still suspect car can be started with jump cable given
enough time, not sure..... New tires. Brakes were changed only maybe about
300 miles ago.
Car drives very well once started, never any accidents except one ( or two?)
fender benders. Body is bit rusty ( what do ya expect after all these years
uh? :-))
The above statement is all true. Car asking price $3000, bet this car can
run another 50k in good hands.

This car is rather a good deal, since basically I am balancing the way
above average good price ( especially considering the mileage) out with not
having to go through the trouble of having to repair the car myself, the
alternator I mean.
And who knew, the last time car was driven to the present garage last summer
, the tires were all changed new, put in a new battery, was told needed to
change the alternater too at that time but did not bother since car could be
started ok then, but now after sitting in the garage for almost a year,
the
new battery is not enough anymore. ( But really still suspect car could be
jump started with enough patience?) | c***x

Car is real old, older than my children!! Had been intending to keep it as
the winter car. Had a sudden change of heart because of the alternator...
Car has leather seats, inside is very clean. Asking price is quite
negotiable. Car could suit very well with a student's budget, provided the

Car was never driven for commute, only grocery shopping, etc.. And after the
second car was bought, idled some more...
It's funny being the first car, sentimental value and all that, with the
sudden change of heart, could not wait to get done with the car fast enough! | i******t
