居然是我仰慕已久的Belladonna and Garozzo 的主要搭档. 居然让
Belladonna and Garozzo 这对搭档在退休之前的最后一次百幕大以5IMP
饮恨, 可气.
不过此人还是拿了2000 Olympiad的冠军, 也算个世界冠军了.
LORENZO LAURIA: Lorenzo, born in 1946, resides in Rome with his wife and
five-year old son Roberto. A former insurance broker, Lauria's primary
occupations these days are bookmaker and bridge professional, both of
which he thoroughly enjoys. His other favorite pastimes are dabbling

being the (I think) anchor pair of the reigning world
champion.
In the 2000 Spring national after our team was out in 3rd
round in Vanderbilt, and while waiting for my departure
airplane, I chose Versace-Lauria to watch. Their table
actions are really keen and pretty much killed their
opponents in 1st quarter (winning around 100 if I remember
correctly).
From the public recorded hands available, I would say they
very much deserve the fam

发帖数: 3277 | 3 Garozzo 依然保持很高水平. 他妻子还算不上很强我看.
前两天在okb上看到Miriam Harris 的牌, 也许她是我见到的最强的女牌手了.
当时她是和Mashall Miles搭档, 相当严密. hehe.
Garozzo 的体系采用了大量的relay, hehe.
不过毕竟年纪那么大了, 在70岁上保持如此竞技水平已经非常了不起了.
无论如何, 他们的时代已经过去了, 现在很难说谁是最好的,
而他们的时代, Garozzo和Belladonna可以说是没有疑问的是最好的.

Bulletin issue:14 Page 8-10 OLYMPIAD Final Italy vs. Poland set 3
在这个set里, Lauria 有两次击落后手Q 做成定约,而且没什么特别理由.
后来Italy 在决赛里只在最后六副牌追上Poland, 获得冠军.

class but out of the top tier. I had the impression that
bidding has not been his particular strength. As far as age
is concerned, remember, in March's Vanderbilt, Garozzo's
Vanderbilt team was defeated by Dr. Rosencranz' team, and
Rosencranz's over 80.
I have been out of the circle for a year or so. Who's Miriam
Harris? Did she change her last name lately? Is she in US
(in LA?)? Marshall Miles, in my mind, now is only good but
not great. A
