Why not bid it with a stopper?
because there's no reason to believe any
of our long suit going to run, hence need help in hearts.

3H is a almost game bid,
I was thinking, if P bid 3s, 4c I will bid 5D
if P bid 3nt, I pass.
If P bid 4H, I bid 4S to show a little slam interests.
If P bid 4s, I bid 6D directly.
But for 4D, the game is not that promissing, I prefer pass.

发帖数: 3277 | 9 3H is fine, west may hold something like: DKQJxxx SAQ Hx CAxxx, in this
case 3NT shouldn't have a good play. West's 4D is bad. He can either bid 3S
or 3NT himself, actually I prefer 3NT more because if he wants to play 3NT,
he likes to be the declarer if partner holds HQxxx, stiff K can provide
a second stopper. Still, east should raise 4D to 5D I believe.
