internet.
To my understanding,
1.if use hub. PC #1 (server) should have 2 NIC. Cable Modem
to
1st NIC, 2nd NIC to hub, hub to PC #2 (client)'s NIC. Then
use
a software like wingate, winproxy, etc to config tcp/ip in
both
PC, right? If server PC is closed, client PC can't go
online.
2.if use router, both PC only need 1 NIC. Cable Modem to
router,
router to both PC's NIC. There will be no server or
client. No
TCP/IP config in both PC |
