其实当访问者连接这个网页的时候，下载的是别的网站上
的资源，不会算成本网站的吧？ |

我每月有1G的BANDWIDTH，我的论坛上只是镶嵌连接了别人的资源，怎会
被点暴了呢？！每天应该有33M的BANDWIDTH。现在超出了流量了！
是不是应该升级了？

page size and how many hits you get?

每个文件大概20K左右CGI文件，在贴图时用了别的网站上的连接，比如JPG文件之类的
东西，这些JPG文件不应该算是本网站的流量吧？今天有大约688人访问，怎么算也算不
出超过了33M的流量哪！具体数据如下：
Busiest Day: Oct 14, 2002 (Number of Visitors: 688)
CGI USAGE (Hits) Today: 5953
20K*5953=11.91M (这是我算的结果)
难道CGI的流量上限不是33M还是把我的连接JPG图片也算上去了？那应该是在别的网站
上抓的啊。靠，这些WEB HOSTING不是骗人吗？
请指教！

这个网络公司一定是和我玩TRICK，他是NETFIRMS.COM。

they have no way to count the externally linked pictures. the
browsers send request to those servers directly.
this 20K is the average output size of your CGI programs?
does it include some pictures, like icons of your site?
do you have FTP on the site and it's been used a lot?
static pages of your site? they all count as traffic
of your site. 33 M per day is fairly low.

Yes, the average size of each CGI file is 20K not including
icons and other images. Actually, there are almost no images on the site.
BTW, i have got the response from the web hosting. The reason is that my
CGI calls cannot be over 2300 times per day. That site will be reactived at
9:00pm ET. They suggested me to upgrade my site. FT, i have been hooked by
this web hosting.

The traffic volume is unlimited,
but only 50 user could connect to server at the same time.
But anyway, 50 is enough in most of the time.

50 is not enough for a typical site, i think. i can prompt to 130 at the same time.
