I used cmsmatrix.org to compare. Right now I wanted to get some suggestions
from those who actually used them before.
By the way, I think Drupal is usful for blog, but it's not goodto maintaim a website.

Mambo open source is pretty good.
This site uses Mambo: http://lkcn.net/food/
I feel it's quite flexible. Relatively easy to customise. But when your demand
is high, there is always something you want to do but can't because of the
limitation of a CMS.
Haven't tried WebGUI.

pages. However, I feel it's slow even in version 6.03. I also
don't know how to make it work with php codes.
You can find some information at www.grpz.net. My friend like WebGUI
so much and finished several commercial sites with it. He also maintain
WebGUI's Chinese site.

v**l 发帖数: 4 | 6 Yes, WebGUI is cool. The only problem I can think about is that it doesn't
provide versioning control.
By the way, its application server is using Perl not PHP.

CMS. If you are a web designer, go with WebGUI, if not, go with Mambo.
Mambo is a simple CMS system. To customize the look, you only need to change
one template file and one CSS file. It is very easy to install and use, but it
is not flexible because there is no template engine in Mambo. You can easily
tell if a site is built by Mambo.
WebGUI is a much more powerful system. Their web site claims it to be a "web
platform

I'm not a web designer. Basically we wanted to choose a CMS which is
convenient for the engineers in our team to use. In this way we can make sure
the instruction/manual/FAQ/etc. be uptodated if most of the team can
contribute to it.
Now we want to choose WebGUI.
change
it
