i checked the background of their ppl.
it seems u need to be very senior level in IB, VC or different big corporates.
then u have opportunities to land in PE shop.
it sounds we need to work out in other big firms, then consider PE shop.
carlyle group is big.
they have vc, fund, and pe parts.
office in UK, US, Asian.
there are some chinese MD in Asian office.
