发帖数: 1073 | 2 I don't know anything about PE in China :p my heritage/culture background is
weak. There are too much regulatory concerns for anyone to start PE in
China, given the importance of personal ties in business. But I am sure
talented people can find their way...just not some dumb american.
PE usually requires tons of industry experience, if you are not native
american, you should consider compensate that with a higher degree. PE are
usually financial buyers of companies, take over the management and | c**********2

GuanXi.
One thing I don't get is how a Higher Degree will make up for your
deficiency in industry experience. Doesn't that work the other way around? i
.e. the more time you spend in phd program, the more issolated you are from
the industry?
Plus, What kind of skill set do you think is neccessary for PE or IB ? | d*****y
