所以想利用一
下公司福利进行一下再教育，所以最近和老板谈了管理类再教育的事情。现在主要有以
下两个选择：
1. Part-Time MBA @NC State. 注重和工程相结合～ 排名60～70
好处是：公司可以付学费，老板支持。公司内之前也有先例，所以程序走起来相对方便
不好的是：MBA 排名一般. 而且，想换个综合好一点的学校
2. Part-Time MEM@ Duke UNIV. 不是DUKE的MBA哈，top5的Duke MBA我经验肯定不够的
。
MEM： Master of Engineering Management,为杜克工学院+商学院+法学院合作的项目。
好处：名校学位，回国好用；比较重市场和管理，有杜克商学院，法学院做支撑
不好的是：因为学费太高，公司不支持付学费。HR的意思是要CEO审核，所以学费基本
没戏。一门课
大概4000～5000到左右，每年两门课的话自费8000～10000刀
再说一下自己的想法吧：
小弟年纪不大，25岁不到，所以对机会比较看重，不是很看重钱，想乘着年轻边工作边
拿个学位。一
年1W的学费没问题，而且LD也支持。
发展规划是:在美国再待5～8年，30岁左右回国发展，想做结合背景的管理。 因为两三
年后，LD要
毕业去其他城市，所以也有可能也要换城市。 这边有一个问题： MBA的话，学分可以
Transfer
吗？

NC State的MBA真的有这么烂？ 它最大的好处就是公司付学费，3年part-time可以读完
，而且公司
有一些1～2年工作经验的人在读。
UNC有weekend的MBA...不过感觉自己还没有到时候，工作经验太少～ Duke，和UNC感觉
是不是都是
太High Level的管理？ 目前想学一些基于技术的管理，及为以后做一些准备. 所以在
Duke目前也是
选择MEM.
有人学过这几个学校的MBA吗？

You mean Duke MBA, not MEM ?
The website says average 10 years work experience for Duke MBA. Any
minimum experience required ?
I only have 1~2 years industrial experience, and most of the current
work is focus on engineering. I wonder if such a MBA would be suitable
for me. So, I thought Duke MEM might be better choice than Duke MBA.
Any details more Duke MBA ? The cost of whole program? 10~12W ?
Focus on financial, marketing, or some stuffs related to technical
management ?

去NCSU 算

发帖数: 2769 | 10 Nc state for the free ride. What you want to do does not require a top MBA.
Always be aware of what you want to do and what it would take. The best for
others might not be the best for you.

well. Good school (I went to Duke) but un-proven program.
For a kid under 26, I wouldn't recommend considering P/T MBA at all.
I would recommend that you:
1. Apply 150% of yourself to your current job, for the next 2 ~ 3 years.
Make a shit-load of money, and make sure everybody at your company knows
you, because you have helped almost everyone, and truly likes everyone. If
you can do this, you probably don't really an MBA. Your boss already knows
that you have tons of energy and want to take initiative with your career.
Give yourself a chance to shine and succeed in the real world. At minimum,
you will know what the heck "leadership" is about if you do go to B-school
in the future.
2. When you are 27 ~ 28, re-visit this decision.

不过，考虑到5～8年，我和LD都打算回国，我想可能一个近期的文凭还是必要的。 我
的行业还是比
较成熟，技术上的大创新不多，150%的投入不一定有同样比例的产出。所以，我想，先
学个
Program，同时有机会在公司内部做一些实践，可能是5年内更好的选择。 5年外，再说
吧...
