发帖数: 215 | 7 Healthcare Management (HCM) is a major of Wharton MBA program, just like
Finance, Marketing, General Management, etc. However, the applicants need to
pre-declare HCM as their first-choice in order to be considered by the
program. In other words, HCM students can take any other major if they
decide to double major, but non-HCM students can not take HCM as second
major. Another difference is when applicants are invited for interview, they
have additional round with HCM program director other than general
interview, which will be scheduled in the same day.
Wharton HCM program has 75-85 MBA students each year, a very tight community
indeed. On top of the massive Wharton network, HCM students enjoy much
closer alumni network, such as alumni mentor program,social events,
additional job posting from HCM alumnus, etc.

发帖数: 215 | 10 Well, it depends on student's background and career aspiration. Many HCM
graduates have multiple job offers, and most make decision long before the
graduation. In general, HCM job placement is better than any other major in
Wharton.
