these two confs or journals like Genome Research/PNAS/PLoS Comp Bio..

conferences ISMB, RECOMB and PSB.
However, the bioinformatics community is growing rapidly. People need to
find places to publish their papers. BIBE is a descent one, comparing to a
bunch of new conferences.
In terms of journals, there are several other good ones: bioinformatics,
proteins, nucleic acids research, BMC bioinformatics, ... | w********d
