reason is that i submit to very good conferences: OOPSLA and ICSE. however, i
am still upset. it's quite difficult to work in this area. you can build
whatever model you like, but to prove that it is useful is very difficult. :( |

OO model for years and those concept are already in ppl's blood. in this
year's oopsla, there are someone presenting new OO language notations,
which is different from classic notation. there was guys asking why you
propose this while software developer are familiar with the opposite?
it's inherently hard to answer this kind problems.

new staffs just because people have been familiar the old ones.

the best way to prove your new stuff is useful is to say: i asked 100
programmers to use this and the other 100 used the old method and there was
20% improvment of developing time, ...
but it is hard to do so in school. :( in this area, to write a paper is much
more difficult than other areas...

However, there is about 60-70% ppl in the world whose intellect
is average and not self-motivated, and they'll ask these problems
again and again.
