in Ottawa on Monday in the deaths of a mother and her child, who were swept
over a cliff when a wall of water was released from a provincial dam in 2002.
Cynthia Marie Cadieux, 32, and her son, Aaron, 7 were sunbathing by the
Madawaska River near Calabogie when the gates of the Barrett Chute
generating station were opened. The victims were from nearby Renfrew, Ont.
