Job Details:
The company’s group is in charge of developing the core head end platform
in their central software system. This system communicates with their
products through a proprietary protocol and instructs it on how to collect
and manage data. They currently have 14 people on the team that write
software for this platform/infrastructure using java. This is real time
development of protocol based software for performance based software. They
have seven releases that are coming up at the same time so they need to
hire a least five contractors on a 6-9 month basis.
Description: Developing java code for the infrastructure platform in their
central software system that communicates with their products through a
proprietary protocol and instructs it on how to collect and manage data.
This is real time development of protocol based software for performance
based software.
Requirements:
1. Candidates looking in Raleigh, NC
2. Product based development with java OR C++ if
3. Protocol experience (IP protocol preferred but open to any protocols)
4. Experience with real time software development of performance based
software
5. BSCS, BSCE, or BSEE highly preferred
6. Must be able to complete the entire contract period
7. Agile experience would be a plus
8. Experience with Maven or Subversion configuration management tools
