Cary couple shows off house built for their special needs

CARY, N.C. — A Cary couple with cerebral palsy showed off the 6,200-square-
foot, $2.5 million home constructed just for them at the 46th annual Parade
of Homes Sunday, an industry event that showcases the latest trends in home
building.
Shane Pegram's father's company built the home – complete with wider doors,
lower cabinets, ramp walkways, elevator, recessed rugs and automatic
lighting – to accommodate the special needs of he and his wife, Jennifer.
"We're so incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to make something that
's molded to us, instead of fitting into something that might not be ideal
for our needs, which is what we've done for most of our lives," Jennifer
Pegram said.
The house even has a dance studio, where Jennifer Pegram plans to teach
special needs children to dance.
"This is where I can be found when I'm nowhere else to be found," she said.
Down the hall, Shane Pegram also has his own space.
"I call it a rec room. Other people call it a man cave. I don't think I'm a
Neanderthal by any means," he joked.
Besides being able to promote The Pegram Group during the home parade, the
couple says they hope to highlight how simple changes in construction can
make a huge difference for people with physical challenges.
This year's Parade of Homes features more than 200 new homes, mostly in Wake
County, that have a wide range of listing prices. The event continues for
the next two weekends – Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16 – from noon to 5 p.m. | j*******e

appraiser说值2.4M, bang! 成交。去说给银行听，他们还真信了，贷2M出来，扣除你
付的首付0.4M和俺的成本大概0.4M，剩下的咱平分，能分0.8M呢。你要先申请破产，你
那0.8M先放俺这里给你存着哈 :-)
