银杏原本只有中国才有,大约200年前开始才在北美普遍栽种.

At duke garden next to the 银杏, there is a 水杉 tree, one of the first
seedlings when the tree was discovered in early 1900s.
In UNC's garden, there are also several trees that are only found in China.
One of them is a beautiful 金钱柏--just in case somebody need its leaves :-)
