Job Posting | Senior Data Analyst
Position at a glance: This position will be in charge of modeling and
analytics solutions to improve business decision making. This is part of a
team that develops, deploys, and supports models built with a wide variety
of technologies including predictive analytics, statistics, data mining,
genetic algorithms, optimizations, big data analysis, and others.
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this role will be
to utilize the data that is generated to gain better decision insights. This
will be developing analytics approaches, tools, and methodologies that will
utilize data to address questions and make better business decisions. You
will also be responsible for model creation, prototypes, and analytics tool
creation.
Additional Responsibilities:
*Expert knowledge in the application of statistical methods
*Create visualizations that enable rapid interpretation of complex problems
*Ability to turn theoretical research into practical application
*Design, build, and maintain robust production machine learning systems
*Build relational and non-relational database structures to facilitate
exploration of key variables
*Maintain a sense of urgency to complete deliverables timely
*Manage customer expectations
*Set short-term and long-term objectives and assess progress
Travel Required: Up to 40%
