The DMV also offers the option to renew drivers licenses online for drivers
who are not able to make a trip to a local office. However, if you decide to
apply for a license renewal online, you must:
State your personal information accurately.
State your vision condition accurately.
Pay the fees with a valid credit card or check card.
Provide a personal valid email to which the DMV will send a receipt from the
transaction.
Provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
Make sure you have no restrictions on your drivers license (aside from
eyeglasses/lenses).
Note: The receipt you will receive on your email is not a replacement for a
renewed drivers license and you cannot use it as such.
