Activation fee is billed directly to your credit card. If you chose the
tethering option you don’t have to pay an activation fee, but the monthly
tethering fee will be billed from your Top Up Balance. (Please be aware that
you have to keep tethering active, and you will not be able to cancel it as
it will become part of your plan).
Member+:
The activation fee is waived, but you can activate Tethering if you want,
and you can cancel it at any time.
Payment Options:
All Holiday Plans (1-6) feature two payment options. The first payment
option is monthly payments (30-day period), and the second payment option is
weekly payments.
If you chose the weekly payment options, it has several advantages:
1) The first week is free (you still have to pay the Activation Fee and
for any Add Ons you may purchase).
2) Many Members like that the allotment of Talk, Text and Full Speed Data
is divided into four equal increments throughout the month. Therefore, if
you burn through a weekly allotment, you will again enjoy full speed data
the next week. On the other hand, if you chose the monthly payment option,
you might burn through the allotments at the first part of the month, and
you are then stuck with low speed data for the rest of the 30-day period.
Both have advantages for different usage habits, hence we give you the
option.
Plans 4, 5 and 6 are with Full-Speed Data, and afterwards Bottomless Saving
Speed Data (32k).
Plans 1, 2 and 6 come with just Full-Speed Data as indicated on each plan.
The interesting part of those plans is that you can customize the overage
cost if you are afraid of overages.
You can fight data overages by changing all your data to Bottomless Economic
Speed Data (64k) or Bottomless Usage Speed Data (128k), or you can use the
Full speed allotments on the plan with a Data Safety Cap. The Data Safety
Cap will also protect you from Voice, Text, and MMS overages in addition to
data overages.
If you would like to sign up for a free service, just sign up for a weekly
plan (the first week is free), and change before the end of the week to the
Free MAD Free Building Block Plan, which is only available for current
Members.
