accidentally accepted the secondary card offer. You cannot activate them
because they are already activated when shipped. I guess you failed to set
your apn in your phone correctly, or you didn't successfully perform a prl
update, or your phone might not be compatible at all. To live as a
cheapskate, one cannot just assume all settings are in dummy style. It is an
art of balance. You either pay or play. To play, you have to do enough
research. Enough research has been done by others, but you still have to
read it and understand the rules. You should have asked before you threw the
card away. I have used FP service since 2014 and so far they haven't
charged me a penny other than the initial sign up fees. | y****p

Even if the cards are defective, if you really follow the instructions on
that cranbinal something webpage to downgrade the plan, it is unlikely that
they will charge you. Had you done enough research, you would handle the
matter differently. Obviously you don't even know that the cards are
activated when shipped. You should downgrade the plan first, and if you
still cannot make it work on your phone, you should contact fp to deactivate
or cancel your account. It is very childish to throw away the card and
think that you are off hook.
As to fp's explanation, I believe that it is a makeup explanation to dodge
your question. This kind of sim card should be reusable and it does not
matter that it is a returned item. They don't want to deal with you anymore
and they cannot force you to believe that you handle the matter improperly.
Fp service is for those who are patient and cheap, and you don't seem to be
one of them. On the other hand there are many very affordable paid plans
such as T-Mobile for those who cannot afford spending some time on walking
through the maze of cheapskate.
