Research Scientist – Spectroscopy
（核磁方面的研究，比如有机高分子材料的表征）
Job Responsibilities:
1. Be involved deeply in Discovery projects not only by providing
measurement support but also contributing ideas/suggestions through his/her
skills in the areas of Spectroscopy (including NMR and other spectroscopy
related instrumentations), organic chemistry, surface science and analytical
chemistry.
2. Review of literature as required and development of new and novel
techniques to improve Shanghai Discover’s Spectroscopy (including NMR)
capabilities.
3. Training of selected users from R&D groups on spectroscopy related
techniques.
4. Consultation and inspection of work in progress to ensure established
standards of quality are met.
5. Make work assignments and review work of lower level employees.
6. Establish work relationships with both internal and external partners.
7. Performance of other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or
BS/MS with > 5 years of work.
2. In depth knowledge on Spectroscopic techniques including, but not limited
to: NMR, FTIR . |
