The Complex Fluids and Multiphase Transport Laboratory within the Department
of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Drexel University is looking for
a well-qualified postdoctoral researcher to work on ab initio modeling of
energy storage materials. The candidate should have experience on
electrochemical energy storage materials. The candidate is expected to
collaborate with other graduate students who work on lattice-Boltzmann and
phase-field methods to develop a multi-scale modeling framework.
Corresponding experiments have also been conducted either in our laboratory
or in collaboration with other experimentalists.
A Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering with working
experience in large-scale molecular dynamics simulations and density
function theory is required. The candidate should have excellent
communication skills and be proficient with C/C++ and/or Fortran programming
on a Linux platform. Previous experience with multi-scale modeling is
highly desirable. The position is open immediately.
