Job Description
The Chemical Physics and Analysis Group at Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory has an opening for a postdoctoral position starting October 2011.
The selected candidate will collaborate with PNNL scientists using laser
heating of thin molecular films and their interfaces to study the dynamics
and kinetics of thermal processes, such as transport, chemical kinetics, and
phase transformations. The initial emphasis will be on hydrogen-bonded
systems such as amorphous solid water and alcohols.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years from an
accredited college or university. All staff at the Pacific Northwest
National Laboratory must be able to demonstrate the legal right to work in
the United States.

Qualifications
Candidates must have received a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering,
Physics, or Materials Science within the past five years from an accredited
college or university. We seek highly motivated and creative scientists to
work in a collaborative environment with PNNL scientists. Prior experience
in laser/surface interactions, molecular beams, or surface science is
desirable but not essential. Experience with fundamental techniques
including LEED, Auger, FTIR, XPS, optical spectroscopy, mass spectrometry
and temperature programmed desorption spectroscopy is highly desirable.
Additionally, familiarity with mathematical analysis and modeling of
transport and/or kinetic data is advantageous.

house，价格很便宜，我四年前在那边好像才20刀一晚
