Technology (S&T) seeks applicants for a non-tenure track assistant research
professor. Applicants must have a strong background in polymer synthesis
and characterization to support research in chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery
techniques. The strongest candidates should have experience to synthesize
and characterize hydrolyzed polyacrymide (HPAM) and hydrogels. Candidates
must have a PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum
Engineering, or a related area appropriate to support research. The
experience to manage research projects and laboratories is a plus. Solid
oral and written communication skills are essential. The appointee is
expected to manage on-going industry collaboration project, supervise
graduate students, and to write proposals for research fundings. The
position will be filled by the end of this year.
