For our chart of private schools, we interviewed education experts
and compiled a list of 25 based ontheir recommendations.
Although these schools are topnotch, this is not a definitive list of the 25
best.
Because no comprehensive data about private schools exist, we then
solicited information from each school on our list, and included it in our
chart.
Many private schools, including the Chicago Catholic schools, would not
release data related to standardized test scores.
On the last chart, we show relevant data for a select group of private
and parochial schools, but we do not rank or score them. (Instead, they
are listed alphabetically.)
Although universal measuring sticks for the public schools exist in the form
of
standardized data released by the Illinois State Board of Education
(ISBE) each fall, there are no such common gauges available for private
schools. All information on private schools comes directly from the
schools themselves

绝大多数不是靠自己？
去重点学校不是看中老师，而是那的竞争环境。
公立学校20-25一个班，私校少于20，有多大区别？
公校实际上同学更熟。因为很多人都是邻居。

能供得起4万一年花费的爸爸妈妈很多就是校友，本来进IVY最重要的因素就是校友的孩
子。 |

是，那些教会学校很多学生的去向只是很一般的大学，去藤校的很少。说明不在于公立
私立，所谓私校能助你去藤校主要还是看你父母有没有钱/地位。 |

发帖数: 5094 | 8 一个班人数差不多，但是你仔细看pupil:teacher ratio差得还是挺多的。大家不能全
盘否认老师的作用，他们能不能发现孩子的优缺点，能不能及时和家长沟通还是差很多
的。孩子多了就是忙不过来啊。

混出来不容易啊
