CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
A new report says Illinois' big pension fix isn't that much of a fix after
all.
The study from the University of Illinois says the plan does little to solve
the state's overall debt problems.
Researchers project over the next 25 years, the pension debt will be
eliminated, but Illinois' budget deficit will still snowball to $13 billion.
If pension reform hadn't passed, the deficit would've been $14 billion.
