My comment:
(a) I am unsure if you want to read it, for it is full of innuendos. And the
report acknowledges as much. The gist of the report is that US is very
leery of Huawei, which says it is being persecuted. The FT report cites
diplomatic cables of WikiLeaks website, but I can not find any there. No
other media report on similar disclosure.
(b) Shayndi Raice, Huawei Set Back on Deal in US. Wall Street Journal, Feb
15, 2011.
The WSJ report merely confirms what it reported last Friday, that CFIUS
orders Huawei to divest 3Leaf Systems. Huawei is bringing the case to US
president--therefore forcing Pres. Obama to take a position. |
