我和老公都在美国，都要申请明年秋季，找学校找了一个月了，无果，唉。
实在不知哪些学校对中国人好一点，所以请教大虾们，想沿着前辈的足迹走，顺便偷个懒

，我刚来几个月，我们现在都在ohio,我们商定，先选定一个地方，都申请那个地方的若
干学校，这样在一块的可能性还大一点。唉，可是我还是终日为选哪几个学校烦恼着，毕
竟北加州的学校太多了，就怕申请到一个什么鬼都没听说过的学校，人家学校可能一个中
国人都没有，我又不是第一个吃螃蟹的那块料，白白费钱，太有名的学校（Berkeley,Sta
nford, 嘿嘿，鬼都知道）又不敢太奢望，烦啊！

Why not try it?
Many Chinese student in Stanford.
It is very convenient too.

a girl graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua
University with my Bachelor Degree in 2001. My GPA is kind of poor(a little
more than 3.0, 76/100 ), and GRE is not high, only more than 2100, but I took
GRE in USA,which means there is almost no 机经 available. Now I am preparing
my TOEFL test.No other special,not excellent.
Do you think I am qualified to apply Stanford without paying the tuition

But I am not in Stanford, just work in SV.
As far as I know, Tsinghua is good enough to apply
any Univ. in US. It really depends on your email contacts
with professors not your GRE and TOEFL.
If you have papers, it is better.
For Standford Ph.D , you always have financial aid.
I have several classmates there.
