的印度导师到SAN JOSE开会，觉得他们真是社会的脊梁，工作之用功，做事的章法，合作
的默契，都不是偶和偶LP可比的。
他们是周六晚上11点到的，可是几个人拿到会议的SCHEDULE后，并没有休息，马上把所有
的SEMINAR看了一遍，钩出感兴趣的，并且分工好，你对这个方向比较熟，听这几个方向
，他做这方面的研究，去赶这几个场子；然后是找人，这个人是NSF某个方向的CHAIR，一
定要去，还要套上话，那个是IBM管相关研究的，说不定有什么项目可以合作的。。。
然后是有个学生要PRESENTATION，大家赶紧听他演练一遍，每个人都要提问题，帮他改进
。一直忙到2，3点，总共6个人，都睡在一个房间。
第二天，7：00就起来了，各自分头行动。
偶是下午3：00去宾馆的，才半天，3个学生除了听了SEMINAR外要找工作的，都得到了ON
SITE INERVIEW的许诺，期中一个还马上和公司的人回SAN DIEGO面试去了。本来偶是去请
他们吃饭的，偶和期中两个关系很好，可是一直拖着到7：00才聚齐所有的人。 |

can only speak, not work. lazy and like to show off.. some try to manipulate
the data so can get to present, one co-op with me, at the end when the draft
of the paper is finished, my god, almost 80% of that published work is mine,
and she put her name as the first author!! some other spend my boss 20K on the
instruments and he jsut got only 1 reference paper, he can do more research
and get some other easy way to do, |

it to run again, but having hard time to get the word perfect 2.0 version. The
hard disk almost die, is 4MB, where can we get this kind of hard drive???
now he just got two new computers this year, but still want us to fix that
286.. We all very pei fu him, he present almost 10 papers in each conference

from my experience, the only advantage of indians is English,
They don't have the communication problem that frustrate most of the Chinese
researchers. For example, if you work with an indian guy in a same group, even
if you acomplish 99% of the work, when you guys come to your boss to report
your data, you will find our that it look like the indian did 100% work after
5 mins talk.
as for the plan on the conference and seminar, those are kind of 'show off'

I met lots of indians, some of them are just like what you said, talk talk
talk, tried to act as American as much as they can. But, still some indians
are hardworking, and very down to the earth. It depends on each individule.

everything so "ren zheng" and carefully and seriously. One example is in my
course each team should do a presentation in the class. My chinese parter only
finished his document which should be submitted for credit and didn't prepare
any paper for the presentation. During the presentation, the most words he
said was "as we all know", no points no evidences no logical.

There was once that the computer in our lab infected with virus, there are
americans, indians and chinese in our group,however, one of the indians
directly come to chinese and ask"what did you chinese do to that computer,
have you guy's been log on some chinese websites that has virus?'
Another case is even more irratating, the students in our group once watch Jet
Lee's 'kiss of dragon'to gether, one of the scene is after a bad guy killed a

much better than chinese. But over 90% of them do not have any faith, no
honesty and never keep their promises. Shame on you that you even make many

company has a new comer (indian guy) works in the office besides mine. He's
been here for over 3 weeks, averagely only spent 4 hours a day in his office
and dissapeared. During these fous hours, he mainly calls or receives phone,
or just talk with his supervisor on all the work-irrelated stuffs. man, their
lives are easy.

印度本来就不差，印度人里面的天才也一堆一堆的，今天好象大家发现乐新大陆一样。

大部分都是关税文章。就教一门科，还经常叫手下的posDoc带课。还开公司，专门抽几个
研究生帮他打点公司。 做研究一点都不认真，比中国人，美国人差远了。
