The lab has 30 or so graduates.
since 2008, there has been a re-shuffle in every profession, including Civil
Eng.
many experienced engineers were laid-off, then through fierce and cruel
competition in job market, some of them managed to grab most of the
available positions.
new graduates are competing with these experienced guys.
only best of the best can win those positions, as there are many laid-off
but experienced/qualified engineers.
that's why new graduates suffer most now, and will for a long time.
