我的背景：在中国念的四年本科结构专业，在国内有大概十年工作经验，在美国没有念
过书也没有工作过，准备在加州申请EIT。
1. 在http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/eit_lsitapp.shtml看到three years or more of postsecondary (college-level) engineering education，我的理解是既然board没有强调必须在美国受到至少三年工程教育，并且没有强调需要ABET认证学历，那我通过FE后，用在国内的这四年本科教育背景不需要任何学历认证就可以在加州申请EIT，这样理解对不对？
2. FE上午考试只有一份试卷，下午会根据不同专业分若干种试卷，其中学结构的一
般选civil这个分项或者general分项,就是在http://ncees.org/exams/fe-exam/显示的other disciplines，对吗？
3. 关于参考书，我搜到关于上午考试的Lindeburg写的书有两本，一本是FE Review
Manual: Rapid Preparation for the General Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
(F E Review Manual), 2nd ed. （http://www.amazon.com/Review-Manual-Preparation-Fundamentals-Engineering/dp/1591260728），另外一本是FE Review Manual: Rapid Preparation for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam ，3rd ed（http://www.amazon.com/Review-Manual-Preparation-Fundamentals-Engineering/dp/1591263336/ref=pd_sim_b_6）。第一本书的书名比第二本多了一个general, 第一本是第二版，第二本是第三版，请问这两本书内容是一致的么？是不是第二本就是第一本的新版？
4. 如果我下午选general,就是那个other disciplines,是不是只买Lindeburg的这
个F E Review Manual就可以了？我看见他还出了一本书FE/EIT Sample Examinations,
2nd Edition，好象是FE的模拟题，这个大家复习的时候都买了么？
5. 考古大家原来的帖子，下午的考试很多人都选general，据说不用另外复习civil
的内容，不过也有人说下午civil的内容都比较简单，我昨天看了NCEES上的EXAM-
specification和reference handout，上面的英文90%看不懂，我在这边没上过学，像
我这样的情况下午选general比较好还是civil？

2. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
•Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification applicants must have
Three years or more of postsecondary (college-level) engineering education.
[Note: EIT applicants in the last semester or quarter of their third year of
engineering education will be considered qualified.]
OR
Three years or more of engineering-related work experience.
OR
A combination of postsecondary (college-level) engineering education and
engineering-related work experience totaling three years.
AND
Previously passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

exams for FE.
3. The official Lindeberg's website is
http://ppi2pass.com/
Go get the 3rd one if money is not an issue. In fact, any edition should be
OK.
4. Yes, Lindeberg's FERM is more than enough for general exams a(AM+PM). Do
not buy other of his other books.
If you have extra money, go get the NCEEES sample exams, which are very
close to the actual exam.

Then it is now for you to know the english and crack the exam. No shortcut.
Everyone else went through this path and you are not an exception... |

不用参考书，花几个小时了解FE考试的大概就可以了
英语看不懂不好办，先熟悉一下专业名词什么的吧，不然难考

直是留言，我就是担心至少三年的学历必须要在美国受教育就麻烦了

发帖数: 400 | 10 本科大四刚读过这些基础课的人需要特别复习什么东西么(还是对着那个sample book看
下就好了),下午选的是土木的.
看了下似乎教授们都觉得我们应该很轻松(pass rate is so high bro).......还是担
心有些结构部分的东西我理解不好.
不过全是选择题应该不会真的要问太复杂的design problem吧... |
