beautiful, classy, yet easy-going, lovely, natural and warm.
In my eyes there are two types of bad Mozart playing: First, too reserved,
insenstive and mechanical, really boring. Their sound quality can be great and
crystal clear. Indeed, they are very pure in some sense, but too much, Mozart
in my mind is a lively spring, always flowing, not some dead spring water in
my cup. A case in point could be Brendel.
